Looking for reliable info on the trails by Fawcett Lake, north of Smith. Have heard that there are a lot of them, have also heard that there is not. Have heard that it is all skeg, and others say there is some.
We prefer harder packed trails, not adverse to mud, but don't like skeg all that much, especially if it is real hard to get through or is mostly water. We like to put on the miles and explore.
Would like to camp somewhere on the west side north of the provincial campsite, past the river.
, but since it is about 3 hours to get there want to make sure it is worth it for a long weekend.
Thanks in advance for any and all info.
