Stay tuned, a new Super Sidewinder will be coming for the 2018 season.
Watch it come to reality on this forum.
Here is a little insight of whats coming, add 174x3.2 extreme and a dynoed proven by CR-racing 230hp 4stroke and you got a one of a kind Super Sidewinder.
Watch me build it.

Looks good but those skis look like they would suck.

Hey Lund you can be my brother from another mother or we can be twins but it may be difficult to explain why you are black and I am white ha ha. I will be making some small modifications to the suspension, try different skis and I am gonna try to build a cover for the intercooler to keep the snow from packing in and try it this weekend when we go to revy and I will post the results good or bad. The go Pro will be running and I will show how this big heavy pig does in the super deep pow that will be there, maybe even venture in the trees, please have SARS ready, haters will still hate though....

Not 100% but i believe it is March 27.

Is yam gonna be at the snowcheck show in march? I wanna see the new s/winder :)

If your talking about the build, no it will not.
Probably will be at the fall show, Vernon.
Arrangements can definitely be made on a Super Sidewinder. Keep watching the thread, if you like what you see and want one, we can accommodate.

3.2? Who's making that track? - haven't heard of this yet. Will it fit?

This is the track that will be used. Camso Chellenger X3.2
Part #9311M. 15x174, 3inch pitch. I will be clipping every window on this track.
Here is a link,

Not concerned about shedding lugs on the big 3" track Lund? If I remember correctly that was why you put the 2.5 on the your last build.

Yes i'm concerned about it. The 3" Camoplast didn't stay together very well on the Nytro but that was 3 or 4 years ago. The current track's are much better, the lugs are not flying off as they did on the first generation of 3". The 2.5" had the same problem when they first came out, lugs blowing off.
Chad said that last years 3" production of tracks were much better.
Right now, in fact tonight i had a call in with both Chad from CR and Nick King from Yamaha about the track i should be using, the one i posted is what i'ed like to use, Chad has a different idea and so does Nick....LOL, we will see.
The other consideration is the SW is not going to generate the track speed that the Nytro does, i suspect it will be about 100k/hr vs 120k/hr. The Nytro makes significantly more power then the SW will. I'm just speculating on my last comment but i'm thinking it to be fairly accurate.

Where are you getting info that a reflash isn't needed with straight pipe and intake?

Not trying to be confrontational but am a member over on Totallyamaha and don't want to see someone get into trouble with leaning or overboosting a Winder. Most tuners over there even recommend reflashes for most exhaust cans.
