Kinda
Check out the torque number's and linear consistency very impressive. 178 almost straight across the power curve, unlike most with a peak and valley type curve.
I'm expecting some big track speeds out of this, we will see.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
8lbs of tq difference from 7100 to 9100rpm. Holy cow that would be wet dream to clutch. That is incredible.
Always the sceptic tho, I would have to see it on Dynotechs pages b4 I got out my bugle and yelled it to the world.
A guy could miss the mark by a lot and still be a hero with those numbers.

Well i managed to sneak some shop time on my own sled this weekend finally.

I found that the CR tunnel to be a little flimsy for my liking in the 174 length and actually talked to my buddy Chad about that. He had the tunnel stiffeners for the 162's in the Cat chassis but not the 174.
So he went to work and made some up.
The modification the CR tunnel required me to cut out the existing roll so that the new stiffener could be adapted. I also like the fact that Chad took the bumper design and raised it, imo it could had been a little higher but hey, better then the original.
Ya i know it doesn't stand out like Kibbels but i like stealth.

CR tunnel before and after being cut to modify.

Job complete.

It's all mounted and has been out a few times but the condition's are not worthy to talk about for ride report. It brutally suck's around here for snow right now.
All i can give you is, by the seat of the pant's dyno as i have not been able to truly test it anywhere for honest numbers on this sled.
I can say this, throttle response is even better... no very noticeably better the Yamaha's OEM setting's.

Hoping soon

Well guys even though it was a little dicey yesterday for hill climbing i did manage to pull a decent hill that looked relatively safe. I only pulled it twice so wasn't taking too many chances.

I just needed to check track speed on the super winder. Last season in deep pull hillclimbs the best average was 62-63mph.
The two pull's i did in yesterdays deep snow with this hill ....wait for it......both times.....65mph, that is 104-105km/hr.
Not bad for a 174x3". Thank you MCXepress.
Oh ya, did i mention its a 225hp MCX ...i might of somewhere in this thread..LOL
Makes me wonder what it would had done with a 162".......guessing, 67-68mph????

BTW, it won't run Kebbels 70mph on his 270hp set up but i'll be nipping his bumper, enough to make him sweat.

About half way through the day, handling was becoming a little difficult, good thing i had two great guys to help out and GOOD DRUGS MAN.....nothing like a few 600mg of ibuprofen won't fix LOL.

Was back at work today, you can't go sledding and not work. KB might have some thing to say about that LOL.

.

So had you stuck with the 162 track length, what track would you have went with? And would you have kept with the 24/50 gearing you mentioned in the other thread?

10/4, I've been having some technical issues with the site lately, so I was not sure if the PM went through. It's not a rush, answer when you have some spare time.
