I got an 89 exciter. Runs awesome when it's colder. When it's about -5 or so it bogs real bad on bottom end. Jetting is a pain. Also got a 97 mm700 good power for it's era, but jetting is even worse to do on that triple. I think the mm600s came with altitude compensation of some kind tho.

Man they all have pistons that go up and down, tracks that go round and round, handlebars and skis. Who really cares what you ride as long as you're riding, it's your knee's in the breeze that matters. I'm a Cat guy but I keep trying everything else just in case somebody builds something I really like, both Doo and Poo will do it eventually and maybe even Yamaha... yup I said it and hey I even own a Rev and like it. Come on save that blind faith for something important like Jesus, or your love for your family... c'mon you can do it.

I suggest you find a good summit from 97 - 02. They are reliable sleds and you can pick them up for under 3500. Mine is mint and I picked it up for 2500.

Its a 670cc 136'' x 1.75'' its decent in 3ft of snow but im sure you can find one with a 144'' or 151'' x 2''. There great sleds, but like said above you get what you pay for, it obviously wont keep up with the new mountain machines but it is still a great sled.

sorry but i would not buy a doo nor have 3500 , ive got enough for a super cheap mm , a phazer , exciter or vmax........

as for blind faith , its not blind faith , its almost 10 years of nothing but success...........i ride what i ride because it works , and i enjoy myself doing it , it goes where i want it to and gets me home safely to my family.......

The same thing can be said about each and every brand and they all have their lemons too as does Yamaha. My quad is still for sale BTW, it's a Yamaha.

Dude, all everyones trying to tell you is that you have to open your eyes. You would be far better off on the 670 summit, as It will outrun and outpull any MM700's, phazers etc. It has altitude compensation, and when modded they are a super sick sled. They will run with modern 800's that are stock.

my old mm spanked a lot of 670's. no it wasnt stk, but neither were a lot of the 670's. plus it ran forever. mm were a solid motor and i had no jetting issues with it.

i had a 670 i used to take a bucket of pistons up the hill with me. i designed a cylinder head with quick release like a bicycle seat and i used a half inch bolt for a piston pin with a nut for quick changing on the hill

thats your opinion............

my experience tells me to never switch so people shouldn't even try cuz i promise you it will never happen.

Dude, Im just saying as im assuming your joey? (If im wrong then disregard this) But don't even start on opinions. It's the same as it's your opinion that Yamaha are the best. "Opinions are like azzholes, everybody has one and they all stink"
