And now that the league is approving deferred payments for cap relief it's basically a soft cap and contracts will shoot up.
Same billionaire who made taxpayers cough up 300 million plus for an ice district while paying his share as payments over 35 years

i guess compared to basketball, golf and soccer thats Peanuts
The NHL also generates peanuts compared to those leagues and you can group in the NFL and MLB too.
Golf is different- you only get paid if you win (apart from sponsorships)

Fan of Draisaitl and happy to see him extended. What I am not a fan of is seeing the cap get tested in these situations, leaves very little in being able to build overall depth.

And his caddie made more than almost every other pro on the PGA tour through his percentage of winnings lol
Imagine how little players on the leafs would make if they were required to win to get paid

Once again the Oil will suffer again with Goalie/Defensive issue's. This Team never learns from past mistakes Smfh!:xmas-smiley-008:

Took the boy to the pre season game against the Jets, not a lot of big names but we had a good time!
my boy and I were there as well, he was pumped to get to see Hunter up close (never got a photo too many kids) and to watch a game in person. Got given tickets from a friend lower bowl with club access, feel spoiled now.
