Where to take used batteries?

Wondering where I can take my used automotive batteries and get money? Once in a while I see some ads on kijiji where people are willing to pay 2-5$ a piece but nothing at the moment

Battery direct will give you about 9-10 cents per pound.

Thanks guys,
I am in grande prairie and would prefer something nearby. Probably not worth the hassle to pack a bunch of leaky batteries to Edmonton for a few bucks.
