Well I know i'm not hangin out in the Arctic Cat threads,,, Even care less about there weight than the T3's...lmao

It will be interesting to see the final weights on the 174.

I have read numerous times on various forums and talked to a few people who were bent out of shape that they did not get the light weight can, there were some cooler changes and the track changes. These are Doo owners.

Doo made a big deal about not increasing weight over the previous 163. If some people are bent out of shape over a can, how will they feel if the sled has gained more than they were told.

Get the weight of the sleds dry and wet. Then wait for snow.

The straps must weigh 3-4 lbs.. Good solid straps

Likely Zero'd with straps, scale calibrated on Doo factory specs and is temperature and altitude compensating.

Assuming the machine is completely empty.

Tank volume is 40L X 1.63= 65lbs

485 + 65 = 550lbs MAX I would say since you figure there is some fuel in there

I was one of the owners Pissed about the can/cooler issue, I'm still going to run the stock can though as I want it quieter.

Jesus, all this talk about the light weight can, and 95% of the owners including myself, would remove the dam thing anyways to put their own preference on. We really need snow.

I don't believe that totally correct, the whole exhaust system was different, so until a can was developed 0% would have changed it.

Did you add in the weight difference from the mbrp can vs stock?

guess those would be questions for the higher ups. who knows maybe they will give the lightweight can thing another go next year. i wasnt that impressed with it anyways. i think the stats said 5lb loss. aftermarket are losing upwards of 10 so some of us would have ended up ditching it anyways so we can smash some more cheeseburgers.

Dont tell tteam you would buy one to drop weight , he thinks it doesnt matter and I know you guys are buddy's. But he has 690 of them in stock, just in case. LOL.

2013 Xm 154sp wet weight is 558lbs, doing some quick math for the T3 163 220kg is 485lbs. Add 14lbs back for the MBRP race can 499lbs. Sled holds 40L=65lbs, sled had some fuel in it so will be lower then 65lbs. Puts the T3 163 at 564lbs minus what ever fuel was in the sled. Looks like Ski-doo kept their promise with the T3 163 weight being the same as a 154.

I will weigh one today! All this BS for 32 pages???????

Just so there is no controversy, but that is very difficult on these hallowed halls, it will be full of cheap Alberta gas instead of expensive Alberta gas bought in BC, full of oil, stock scratchers, and the stock suitcase . It will be a base mark for all you speculators.

I will most likely post tomorrow as I will be home late.
