Any Maxwell do the same to super salesman's as he doesn't care either ??

I absolutely care about weight. But it's not as important to me as reliability and strength. You would have to be pretty stupid to think that increasing your power to weight ratio is not a good thing lol. If I have a more reliable machine that weighs a bit more and handles and performs better than its lighter counterparts then I'm cool with that. But I'm always down for getting skidoo on a diet there is some places to drop some lbs safely.

T-team you should fill Maxwells front and rear bumper up with cement, and soak his seat in water if he don't care about weight lol.

We need snow! Cause when everyone is stuck up to there tits in snow who cares how heavy they are! They all weigh to much then!

That right there is why this topic is a interesting one, and a puzzling one.

They had a wicked prototype that worked really well with the new exhaust and ported track than a major production change was made to go back to the original exhaust and reduce the track porting.

BRP claims the production model T3 is lighter with the old exhaust, which is odd to begin with. IF the t3 is as light as they say it is why not make it lighter yet by using the exhaust and track that was advertised during snocheck.

It's not puzzling at all. They told us the exhaust didn't meet sound and emission requirements so it's tossed. They also told us that the 3rd row of porting was removed because they had durability concerns. So my guess is the prototype came in 10lbs+ lighter than advertised which have them some wiggle room for inevitable production changes. Therefor they are still claiming the same weight. Like mentioned earlier they would look pretty friggn dumb if they snowchecked a million sleds then sent a letter out saying "just kidding! It's still heavy 17000$ please" so once we get some weight confirmation we will see if they did intact beat there advertised weight target of it comes on as advertised with the heavier can. And that's what we are waiting for. Confirmation. Soooooooo still no weights lol...

What is your issue with me buddy? Like... Does it ruin your day as soon as you get out of bed the fact I sell these? Do you want my autograph? If you don't want me around inserting actual FACTS into your banter than just say so and I will leave you and your armchair army to it. But you can banter back and forth all day but as soon as I put something up I think is useful you jump on me. lol. Im not sure why you are on this thread in the first place the vintage section is in another part of the website.

If you look at the wording of that......maybe they upped the weight of the 2.5" sleds so their advertising wasnt a lie? haha

Does anyone remember the RT1000??? Were people saying the same thing about the weight not mattering then? What a bunch of BS.

But yes there is no doubt that the T3s will work well. Now someone post a damn weight already!
546 lbs?

Fair enough, I guess the Govt Emissions and sound rating must of changed over the spring.

560 wet for the 174 is my guess

Ya I don't know the details. You would think they would have tested that to the requirements before advertising it.

still puzzling cause when they were taking my $ in spring they were advertising it had a light weight can & still met sound & emission requirements... Soooo were they lying then or now? Also T-team, you say they met their advertised weight but to my knowledge nobody has proven that. As you might expect we are a little hesitant to believe what they're telling us! I would weigh mine but I don't have access to a scale that big & don't have my deck on yet to take it to a road side scale.

Exactly. It's not often doo claims weight loss so I'm damn sure they covered there bases

After 08 when wasn't really as light as it was claimed to be I am sure they calibrated their scales.

guess those would be questions for the higher ups. who knows maybe they will give the lightweight can thing another go next year. i wasnt that impressed with it anyways. i think the stats said 5lb loss. aftermarket are losing upwards of 10 so some of us would have ended up ditching it anyways so we can smash some more cheeseburgers.
