maybe i guess, have seen a few stuck that no quad will ever pull out, needing a bigger winch lol.

other than that i see the SxS going through the thick of it.
I see the SxS breaking something in the thick of it.

Edit: I will say that, IMHO the guys that are going to the "utility-type" SxS with less HP and then adding the stronger axles and NOT running the biggest, ugliest mud tires out there, may be on the right path towards reliability.

I don't know dave, but that is the theory, in practice it might be different. Big power and big weight does tend to break stuff, I seem to be driving the ranger a little harder than the king quad though.

I agree , but the same can be said about quads as well I guess....
My ranger goes where it needs too...and cost 1/3 less than a Mav /1000xp
......the wildcat, time will tell.....

Im going to jump in on this one as Im trying my own little SXS theory as per what you guys are saying. lower HP slow and steady on the throttle. Im sticking with my 800RZR and see this yr with our crew and others on who's breaking parts on machines from bone stock to full mod on stock power. should be interesting to see. and at the end of the day I will have the machine to come and haul ya home :)

Washed it all up! Ordered a lift kit and bought parts to make a snorkel! Thought I better snorkel it after my brother swamped his 800 this weekend! Lol

The 900s are pretty easy to snorkel alright. I went stealth behind the seats...nice access !
With a lift / tires you don't need much hieight, and it does keep it quieter....
What lift did you choose ?

Super atv lift. My dad has one on his ranger and it works good has not had any issues with it. So I thought I would try it, if it sucks I am only out 150 bucks.
