Coming in for a break and lunch.
After lunch a few more pieces

Then I'll pull the covers and Prime the oil pump make sure I got good flow.

Tomorrow stab it back in the engine bay

Spent the afternoon in the garage yesterday building myself an atv riser out of lumber I had laying around. Not the prettiest or lightest thing, but strong and does the trick for the couple times it will get used for small trips each year

I need to get the corner of my garage jacked up, previous water issues have aused it to crack and sink.

Spoke with Stryder Constuction out of Spruce Grove as they do mud jacking and all the companies in the city had no interest in coming out to Wabamun to do the job.

I was advised that I could substantially reduce the cost of the project if I did the grunt work myself (no sense paying for the trck to sit on-site while he digs holes and jacks) Because of the nature of the crack he advised using a hydraulic jack to lift the slab prior to pumping because we don't want to inadvertently raise the slab at the crack as opposed to at the edge.

I got it dug out this weekend and will use a 12 ton hydraulic jack to raise it tonight then hopefully have the void filled later this week.

Ian if it’s not to late another option to mud jacking is using polyurethane spray foam insulation to lift the slab. Will last longer also than the mud used in mud jacking and the wait time before being able to park a car back in the garage will be less. Tailgate's closed and the winch isn't inside the cab...I call that a win.

Not my most recent outing in the garage but my covid remodel that i've been meaning to do for years.

I put in the reznor heater just before winter and ditched the electric one, man what an upgrade!

Didn't have much for power out there aside from one welder plug under the bench so it was shared between my heater, air compressor and welder. So I converted that into a sub panel and ran a bunch of new circuits. Also did a MAJOR purge, it was awesome.
It got a fresh coat of paint but I haven't done the roof yet. It's still a work in progress.
The disaster before:

I decided to put the bench on the side because that allows me to fit my pickup in the garage now. It would fit before but literally touching the bench and the garage door would rub the bumper on the way down

Looks much better.
I'm doing the exact same thing on mine right now. Painting, organizing, and purging. It's been bothering me forever so decided to get it done.
