Wanted a base line weight number before adding turbo and cutting some weight..Sled had just under a half tank fuel If i have time I'll top her up and weigh it again.. Scale is a cheaper one but a rep here at a scale shop says its decent an accurate within a pound so should be close

i have that same scale but not the cabellas brand. found it to be very accurate

Ya i called around today to bunch of the scale shops in town to rent one or buy a cheaper unit and the one rep tells me they sell a decent cheap unit and he seen same one at cabellas just relabeled he said its good accuracy so figured should do the trick.. Weighed sled a few times and each weigh in was within a pound so

Wow that is pretty impressive. That might be lighter than the M1000? Interesting and thanks for sharing! I'm thinking the T3 will not be much different?

so about 600lb with full tank of gas ...

very interested in weight with turbo, sure a lighter sled would be nice but I dream of 240hp or more at 2500m ...

That's a very respectable number! What do you figure a mpi kit weighs?

i would guess 20-30lbs....the bonus is you loose the suitecase muffler, air box etc.....so I would guess a 10 pound gain total

Read on another site, that had everything weighed already, that the difference between everything removed and the MPI kit installed is only an additional 38lbs ....

Boost it and alpine kits will be significantly lighter than mpi due to the fact that they just have a downpipe off the turbo rather than a suitcase muffler

I think that is lighter than my M1000! Thanks, keep us posted when the turbo goes on. I am 240lbs and 6ft 4inches and I would consider myself about 50lbs heavier than the average rider give or take? I have know issues with throwing my 1000 around at all and looking forward to throwing my leg over one of these sleds! Being a bigger guy I notice a difference when I jump on a 800 sled vs my well running 1000! Thus why this sled appeals to me, same weight and more ponies!
