I think that is lighter than my M1000! Thanks, keep us posted when the turbo goes on. I am 240lbs and 6ft 4inches and I would consider myself about 50lbs heavier than the average rider give or take? I have know issues with throwing my 1000 around at all and looking forward to throwing my leg over one of these sleds! Being a bigger guy I notice a difference when I jump on a 800 sled vs my well running 1000! Thus why this sled appeals to me, same weight and more ponies!
Topped it right off with fuel.. Now time to add some HP and cut some easy weight :d
What sled are you coming off of?
is that with bags, and shields etc? or stock with full fluids? I like your color choice.... nice sled, man
Yamaha weighed a Viper 153 with MPI turbo this spring was 641lbs ready to ride. MPI turbo kits are not that light. Probably drop 10-15lbs off the kit with a better muffler.
Nice! So how much HP will you be runningk.Just got turbo kit install pretty much wrapped up. After removing unneeded parts and adding a light weight battery Ive gained a total of 6-7 lbs..
Gotta hand it to the Boost It boys kit fit and finish is unreal on this kit and the instructions and install video make it a breeze for the DIYs..
Just found a picture of the 162by2.5 camo extreme tnitro(mcx) 320hp kit on the scale full of fluids... Came in at 640 lbs... Little to much for this cat thou...
how much was the scale at cabelas?? Kids smashed the led display on mine and gotta replace it, thanks
Is there any reason one couldn't 86 the muffler on the MPI kit and run a straight downpipe like the others do? In the interest of weight savings that is.Boost it and alpine kits will be significantly lighter than mpi due to the fact that they just have a downpipe off the turbo rather than a suitcase muffler
I think mpi has a lighter can for their kits! The suitcase if for emissions! Is there any reason one couldn't 86 the muffler on the MPI kit and run a straight downpipe like the others do? In the interest of weight savings that is.
