Well another win tonight takes us into 1st in the NHL for points and first team to reach 200 goals offensively. If that is not a deep team I don't know what is.

Not sure that i agree 100% with the Hodgson trade. I understand he will probably never be much more then a consistant 30 point guy but he does play a key roll. However Kassian will add some of the much more needed size and depth. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

They gave up a lot of offense but gained some size. They can score a lot of goals but struggle when the going gets tough. I can see the logic behind it, guess we'll have to see what actually happens.

Was by far the most logical trade for them. They do have to goal scoring problem beat no doubt. From a financial stand point contract wise also a solid move. May have lost something for the future though. Time will tell.

If he can play smart as well as tough it will be good for them. They need some team toughness, someone willing to make the other guys pay for transgressions.

My nephew is a huge buffalo fan and he is not happy they traded kassier saying he has the potential of being an awesome player. Well I hope their loss is our gain.

They compare him to Lucic but thats a few years off. Who knows though maybe with the right training and coaching it is possable. Pahlson was a decent deal. Really gave up nothing for some size.
