Some people are giving the Kings a chance but I don't and i'm no Canucks fan. I see 3 teams in the west that can give them a run for their money and that's Chicago, Nashville, and St Louis but St Louis is a fairly young team with no playoff experience. Chicago and Nashville are a different story, either one of them could beat Vancouver in a 7 game series.
I wouldnt under rate St louis.........they have a couple of very good things going for them........namely 2 of the leagues best shut down goaltenders, and everyone knows when it comes playoff time when you run into a hot one, upsets begin.. Anyone remember Halaks heroics with Montreal 2 years ago??? He dismantled the pens, and Washington, while still taking on average 40+ shots a game... Just saying

ha the casuckers are down one and were out played like little ladies hope those cheap shot artists go down four strait
Don't think there is a hope in hell of them getting past LA. It will be great if they take them down in 4 or 5. Canucks are just a bunch of dirty yappy whiners.

Canucks were trying to hard to goon it up and it backfired on them. When did they change their style of play? I watched a few of their games during the regular season and I don't remember them playing like they did last night. Trying to play the tough guy style of hockey just doesn't work for them and LA took advantage of it. That push in the last few minutes was more their style IMO and if they would have played that way they might have won last night. They better win the next game or this could get ugly.

To be honest I watch a lot of Canuck games and the type of hockey they played last night was definitely not Canuck style of hockey. I am not sure what they were thinking and deserved to lose the game. Very undisciplined to say the least. And yes the play in the last few mins is how they should play!

Yup LA didn't win so much as Vancouver lost that game. Hopefully they can shake it off and go back to playing their game. Thought Lou played very well other than the sharp angle shot that got through him.

How Vancouver played last night is exactly all I saw last season from them in the playoff's. Especially in the Chicago series. I am all for Vancouer going all the way, but that was pretty bad hockey.

If they would spend as much time trying to put the puck on the net as they did chirping going up the ice, trying to draw soft penalties and taking all the hacking liberties they could they might have actually walked away with that one.

The Kesler stick between Stoll's legs was classless...Stoll should have knocked him out.

The headshot on Clifford, pointless.

Sedin's dive as soon as he felt a stick touch the inside of his leg, he should be making movies, not playing hockey.

And Zack Kassian for Hodgson is totally obvious to me now. I don't know how Vancouver ever managed without Kassian.

Lou did well though.

In Edmonton we knew it was going to be an early end to the season....

I was told if I wanted to see a playoff game I would have to come to Calgay.... not sure he meant watching Vancouver and LA in a Calgary bar......[

Here is a list of suspension for 2011 / 2012 season. I guess the whole league is guttless and cheap shot artists as is covers a good chuck of the NHL teams........... but wait........... no Vancouver player. WTF???

Keep hating guys LOL

hmmmmm............ so the actual suspendible action is the result of the NHL telling players to do something cheap and gutless so that a Canadian team gets into the playoffs.

I think you guys have way to much time on your hands as your teams are resting for next year and not in the playoffs.

Cheers

maybe because of all the cheap shots they take, and the hollywood dives.......... Good example was kesler last nite,,,,, he had several very questionable hits in the #'s last nite, then he gets tangled with richards and sprawls all over the ice and throws his stick like he was used and abused, when in reality he initiated the scrum......... Maybe that's why? Oh yeah, the twin sisters probably don't help matters either...........hehehehe
