Vancouver Canucks for the Cup

The reffing was pathetic. They don't call the really bad things they HAVE to call, and call a few petty ones. If you break a stick with a slash, it needs to be called. It wasn't extremely one sided or anything, but they have to do a lot better job. There should of been atleast 8-10 more penalties.

Not a chicago fan at all, just a anti-canucks fan. I will cheer for anyone playing against them. Gonna be lots of humble pie when canucks are eliminated.......I don't care if they made it to second round, theres three more and a lot harder teams.

If canucks owned the game it wouldn't of went to OT. I love when people say "the goalie won it, or the goalie held them in" Since when did the goalie stop being a player? If the goalie won it, they out played them. If a goalie keeps a team in and makes it a OT game, it wasn't one sided play at all. Yes canucks got more chances, but unless you capitalize it means nothing, the goalie still outplayed you.

Canucks won't make it far. "the best duo in the league" is the weak point, luongo got by on the skin of his teeth last night, he will crumble again. Still laughing he made that comment! They have a very good back up, but luongo sucks....Crawford made him look like a rookie backup.

if you hate the Canucks so bad why do you keep coming to this thread? We keep hearing the same comments over and over about how far we are not going to make it but here we are still in the playoffs. No team is perfect and no game is without its controversy. Sedin's have glided a bit and are guilty of not playing to their fullest ability. But they are human we all have slumps. BUT the Canucks are in the playoffs because they have played great all year, including has Luongo and have given the fans hrs of great entertainment. This is just another step they have to overcome. In the meantime this fan will continue to enjoy the experience and pray to the hockey Gods that we achieve the ultimate goal despite the up and down emotional rollercoaster. :d:d I am sure you would be doing the same if your team was in the playoffs but they preferred the golf course instead :d:d:d

I think someone is a little sour that there team sucked this year and didn't even get close to the play-offs..

not sure what there is to be sour about.... if your not gonna make the cut 30th is a hell of a lot better spot to end up than 17th....

I'm torn on the Vancouver thing... natural reaction is to hate them and wish them failure.... but on the other side of the coin they have never won anything before and I guess I'd almost rather listen to ya'll brag about a cup win than an epic second round game 7 overtime defeat in 4 games at the hands of a paid off ref.... if your ever gonna win one... right now you've got the team on paper...... that said...

Actually as far as i'm concerned game 7 was the best reffed game of the series. The other 6 games of the series were varying degree's of poor reffing. Not saying that it was the cause of the games scores just saying there was alot of poor reffing.
