Put it to them? Did you watch a different game than I did?? Wasn't the score 2-1 in O/T?? Luongo isn't the goal tender he thinks he or Schneider is, Crawford made him look like a rookie.

So who do the Canucks play next?

I watched the game and yes the Canucks put it to them hands down. Despite the score they more or less dominated this game and if it wasnt for some spectacular saves from Crawford (great goalie by the way) the score would have been way up there. Perfect game refed and both sides got away with minor penalties but all in all was a very entertaining game to watch....but stressful :d Hope the Canucks can bring this type of game into the next round. :)

Funny how when the Canucks win the penalty situation was fair, not so much when they lose.;)

Put it to them, I don't think so but we'll just have to agree to disagree.:)

Funny how you seem to disagree with most everyone including the sports commentaters. The nicks had over twice as many hits, and if i remeber right the hawks didn't get more than about 10 shots on net in the second and third period combined. Anyone who thinks that the canucks didn't take it to the hawks and dominate that game had there head in the sand. Maybe you were just to teary eye from seeein the bruins lose to see the game clearly..LOL.. JB..

Last I checked there were no rules against disagreeing with other members. Some of you Canuckians are a little too sensitive, afterall, it's only a game.

I've watched every televised game that the Bruins have played and you don't see me on here crying and whining about non-calls, referee favoritsm and dirty play. It's a game, sh!t happens and there's nothing you can do about it so why whine about it.;)

You are absolutely right that we dont all have to agree. If we did all agree on everything it'd be kinda boring.

statistics dont lie! when one team is getting 75% more penalties something is definately not right! P
PS. hockey is a canadian sport and we take it very seriously. Just like football or baseball in the southern states.

The officiating was much better as both teams were allowed to play despite infractions taking place. I would rather have the teams win or lose the game instead of the refs doing it for them. Either way, win or lose I would live with it and accept our defeat if we played crappy. As for "putting it to them" hey you dont have to take my word for it as I have to admit I am a bit biased on this but go to TSN.ca or even on sports news and you will hear similar reviews. Anyway, here is to the next round :beer::beer: and looking forward to more discussions / disagreements. :d:d

Well, you are aware that the Blackhawks were the 3rd least penalized team in the NHL right?? ;)

Yes, I know hockey is a Canadian sport and i've got French Canadian blood running through me, I still don't take it as seriously as you all do.

The Vancouver sports radio play by play guy is fawking annoyingly bias....

Rod Phillips is/was an Oiler fan to the core and sometimes would flirt on the side of bias, but this dude was blatantly whiney and miserable.... luongo was poised and skilled while Crawford was "lucky"..... the sedins are majical and toews makes up in heart what he lacks in skill....???????? WTF... it's guys like that that make me want them to lose.... I will try to get over my deep set hatred for the Canucks and be happy for the fans

I would not say Vancouver DOMINATED... they only held a 1 goal lead until under 2 mins in regulation.... Crawford had some nice saves but as much as I don't like Luongo he also did his part to keep them in the game when it easily could have been ended at any time in the first 5 mins of overtime.....

Damn, your onto me.:d

With all you Nuck fans talking all your sh!t someone had to come into this thread that wasn't so danged bias and give an objective view of things!;)

Yes, there is a Bruins thread but apparently I am their only fan on this forum. If they do happen to lose tonight, you won't hear me crying about it. (at least publicly )

hahahaha. Better put a cage around the TV for the next round as I am sure we will have some more stressful times ahead. Canucks just love doing this to their fans :d:d
PS I felt I needed a bottle of oxygen and a heart monitor connected and I am only 44. Good thing I took my high blood pressure pills in the morning as they were working OT! :p
