ALLAN CREEK WILL BE GROOMED AGAIN SUNDAY APRIL 11th !

The temps have been quite cool at night and the trail is holding up awesome!


Clemina is basically done from the parking area. There were trucks that parked at 3km today and soon you should be able to get to the 4km turn around.

The alpine conditions are still excellent ! Here are a few shots of chappell on Friday.......there have been very few users out there

here are some if our photos from the weekend at allan creek. not to many of the conditions mainly me learning how to ride. but the conditions were GOOD!!! FRESH snow in mid april cant complain

Nice pics Maxwell. We came across that slide & talke dwith the 5 young guys that set it off. The dust was just settiling when we saw them.
1 guy was riding across the ridge looking for a spot to jump when it cracked on him & came down. He managed to pull the sled back & didnt get caught in it. They had a big wake up call.
Worst part is when I said "Didnt you know Avy conditions are High"
Reply... "But we were just jump off small stuff"
Didnt look to small when I saw the chunks sitting there.

Second Avy we say was ust to the right of your pic with the arrow. Guy on a 1200 Turbo XP. Pulled the hill 6 times with 2 small sections sluffing off. Then the big one came down. Just about caught him I was told. I only got to see the pile of snow at the bottom of the shoot.
Another head shaker.. when we went in past Avy Alley no tracks on it. We came out and Avy Alley was all tracked up! We seen enough crap for the day so we headed back, played down in the tress behind the cabin.

yah snowpack is about 300lbs per cubic meter. some of those chunks being the size of a truck that could be 12,000+lbs. that might crush ya? ive looked at that cornice all season and watched it grow as ive been off it in other years. not this season. the other avy he was lucky to say the least. never have i seen tracks in those spots ever. very cool but not this year. i dont want to start anything but them laughing about it is kind of odd.

Rode chappel on Friday and Saturday!!! BEST rides of the year hands down. And there is still a lot to play in there!!! Trail is poooo , takes awhile to get up but well worth it.

Rode Allan on friday,Clemina saturday & back to Allen on sunday.... Lots of untracked to be found at both....Ah yes & clear skies for most part !

We came down from super bowl just after the 1200xp set off that avy. Crazy little slide and glad he was okay but that thing can climb. Watched him go back up just to the left of where it had let go. Pics are at super bowl and the avy.

avy happened on the slope on the right in your pic. Superbowl, is farther back.
