Put a new short block in it at the start of the year, be less than getting a new sled.

Been watching for a month or so lots of delusional sellers. I wonder If guys are upside down on them financed.

or they believe their own BS about what their chit is worth when it ain’t.
Your bang on. I think some of these poor buggers with bad credit, over paid. Then high interested, likely owe more than they are worth.

Several years ago I put one of my dirt bikes up for sale/trade. A guy offered his 2014 arctic cat m8 straight across. I met the guy to do the deal, going through the paperwork. He still had lien, (he was clueless and thought he could trade me and still make his sled payments) and still had 4 years left on his 8 year term. Total cost of borrowing was 24 grand. For an 2014 Arctic cat LOL

I have noticed some dealers are really dropping their used prices lately…usually they are high. Don’t want to be stuck with a bunch of inventory.

Autos are that way too at some dealers. Salesman won't look at a cash in hand buyers. The finance companies have made it way too good for them, so they force buyers to finance.
And probably an excessive fee to layout the loan withing the first year too.

People don’t care …things cost so much money what’s the difference is you pay a little or a lot…as long as you can get the sled.

Nobody really owns anything anymore it’s just payments to use. Vehicles cost more then most people can make in a year. It’s just wrong.
