Guaranteed, one thing,,, the low snow conditions won't help for sales...

$4 or $14 k out the door + fuel,,, transportation,,, lodging,,, meals,,, night life,,, parts labour and accessories added too the bill makes for an expensive sport...

That and the every day costs of living limits the funds...

If yaa have a sled yaa can't get what your asking...
If yaa want too buy a sled it's too much...
If yaa need too fix it it will brake the bank...

The bad news is is it's only going too get worse...

Recession is when the economy slows down...
Depression is when things become too expensive and the purse strings get tightened...

If you have what you have hang on,,, maybe the economy will turn around,,, highly unlikely but one never knows...

Free spending in the pandemic years is over,,, the arrow is pointing in 1 direction for the majority of folks,,, there are some deals too be had but there far a few ( in-between. )

Hopefully I'm wrong as normal since I miss placed my crystal ball...

You forgot to add one thing and I do struggle with this as I’m getting older. Snowmobiling truly a selfish sport.

I know there are some awesome parents here that have involved thier spouses and kids but it’s not very common. Not common as in aggressive tree/terrian riding. Trail riding you bet lots of families.

It’s a big expense sled, truck, trailer, lodging your time etc…to justify doing it solo.

I definitely had to get crafty and handy over the years too make things work….not necessarily the money all the time but the time away. I have a love/hate relationship with sledding. lol.

Exactly why I have a wakeboard boat instead of a sled right now. A sled holds 1.....my boat holds 14

My name on snow and mud comes from the way we have lived over the years. First with snowboarding and onto sledding. We are dirtbags that will do anything to ride. Learned to live cheap and make it work. I have been able to sled with my wife now for 25 years and my son is now 15 and is an absolute charger. It won’t be long and I’m sure you will be seeing him on you tube doing dumb stuff. Riding with my family has been a huge cost but one I will never regret. I wish I could get my 12 year old daughter interested in mountain riding but she just likes cruising around town on her old Bravo.

175" track sleds are a hard sell since they don't make them anymore. My T3 174 banana was one of my favorites.

That’s awesome. So lucky to share that with your wife. When I was young, I didn’t settle down with one woman soon enough. Then I got fixed so I could ride. Unhooked the balls no chance of kids left me with nothing but time and money. Now I’m in my 50s. My knees and my squeaky elbows/worn out wrists. Remind me of an amazing three decades sentenced behind bars. One real good thing is I have three brothers that have kids and I can ride with them anytime.
