My construction work is interesting and I have found some creative, although not acceptable, ways that people do things. This is a deck demolition and build to start anew.

I will contribute more pictures as I go along. These two 4x4's were too short and the previous builder was too fugal to buy a couple 4x4's that were long enough. The answer was creativity. Absolutely amazing that this roof didn't collapse during the winter. There were other deficiencies and I guess the most glaring was the use of 2x4's for joists with a span of 10'.
