we got everything under control, sled out, fire started, and the guy mostly dry for the ride home.

when we got to the power line trail (a main trail that leads to more trap lines), we took a break

and another 40 ouncer was found beside the trail

the beaver dam sobered me up pretty quickly and I'd had enough

we still had quite a ways to go before we got home

 

[ferniesnow]

and it was a tough trip.

we made it with no further problems

It was dark and cold

bingo.....a hun run and a thou run

so we formed a line with the sleds in touch with each other

the drunkest were in the middle

slowly but surely we made it.
