So that us locals know, what are you going to be driving? I can look out for you and keep my distance. Some young kid with that kind of attitude is a scary thought to have behind the wheel. My son is exactly your age and he thinks he is a good driver, because he drives playstation games. He has had a rude awakening a few times by haveing close calls and us getting on his case about not paying attention. Being a good driver comes with a lot of years and miles. Good luck to you if you make it the first year without an accident, nothing serious though.

He asked a simple question? So because your son is a moron, by comparing playstation to real life (especially at 15 none the less), your going to paint every 15 year old with the same brush?

Last time I read this thread, it was cyle with the ridiculous remarks.

I'm beginning to think cyle has 2 accounts...

Your the 15 year old kid that thinks he will be a good driver the second he gets his license. That is a stupid and scary thought. A lot to learn.

WTF is wrong with some truck drivers. One inch from the bumper or one foot from the bumper, you are too f'in close. I also drive trucks (Vac) with a class three license. As a truck driver class one or three you are supposed to be professional. There is a speed limit and it should be followed. Yes I like to speed, and get reminders from the office every time I'm in a company vehicle that I'm speeding because the boss will get an email from the tracking service we use. My infractions are usually where we enter into towns as we slow down at the signs but the tracking company just does a bubble of a mile on each side of town. Doing 15 under the limit is as worse as doing 15 over. If people cut me off or tailgate me yeah not to happy but not going to put myself into a situation where I am going to endanger somebodys life. So somebody needs to stop being ignorant behind the wheel and get a life. 

Never done anything to endanger others, but others driving endangers me pretty much everyday. By cutting off a truck, you are endangering them. Stoping a few feet from someones bumper, is not endangering them. I mean if you come up at 40 and slam on the brakes at the last second ya. Creeping up on someone isn't, far from it. The more I read the more I am scared, as I drive like 90%+ truckers out there and more cautious then a lot, and with the posts here either they are the 10% or are full of ch!t or don't even know how they drive. You can honestly say when taking off from a light, getting rolling to come up on a car that isn't moving, you don't get really close because you expect them to move? Like I said, either the truckers in this thread are full of ch!t or don't realize how they actually drive! Which is more scary then anything.

I never said I think I will be a good driver the second I get my liscense. Earlier in this thread I said I'm a better driver than you, which clearly isn't hard to beat. You have the intellengence of a 12 year old.

I can tell you tend to forget that you turned 16 once also. I can clearly remember thinking the exact same thing after getting my license. (No offense carrots, not saying you do know it all)

Nope i'm the cautious kind, not over confident. I knew I wasn't a great driver and started in the winter, I took it easy. Probably the reason I didn't get into an accidents like a ton of 16 year olds do....

Well Cycle maybe the time has come to trade your keys in for a desk job. Your the one who said you turn into a big azzhole when people cut you off and stuff like that. Good attitude you just made yourself an even bigger azzhole by saying that. I sure would love to see you get one inch or even one foot from my bumper.  Just remember you run into me or someone else and you will be the one getting the ticket for following too close. If that truck redlines at 95kmh they may want to upgrade their units. I am not a person who bashes other people especially from behind a computer but get a life. We were all 16 once and we all have done stupid things. Let the kid ask questions and learn then to think they know it all. It will be better for him and all of us. I knew it all once and now I am happy to go home and be with my family. I get passed, tailgated, and cut off daily, shrug your shoulders, let them go call the proper authorities and let them deal with it.
