We have a company in canada bore the cynlinders and port the cylinders to our spec's and renikasil them all at the same place.. But yes it is all done to our spec's.. I was riding one on the weekend and damn does that thing pull hard, and it's damn quick to.. I'm thinkin that i'm going to build foir myself next year instead of buyin a cat maybe..m I was really impressed.. I also rode a boosted XP ans Rt1000 on boost.. Holy crap are the turbo sleds FAST, stuff starts goin buy REALLY fast in a ral short time after pinin er.. All in all it was an awesome weekend..

So who came up with the port timing and what piston are you using? Also what head are you using on this engine? What fuel does it run on? What exhaust are you using? Im very curious it sounds like we have a new kit on the market for 08 other than engine tech, rk tek and all the others out there. Will you be stocking these kits? How much will they be? Are there any case mods that need be done?Thanks for your response Glengine

by the way when did they? come out west to test all those motors?

The kits that we are building use fully ported cylinders With a cast piston also. And they also come with a billet head as we are using the Rk tek head, we use our porting specs though.. I rode one on the weekend and man does that thing pull and it was alot of fun to ride.. The kits that we are doing make 172hp on the dyno here. I also installed over 2 dozen of these kits over this winter and a bunch more are lined up for the summer.. And yes we usually have them in stock.. We recommend that a person runs approx 3G of C111 per tank, partly because you can never be certain how good a premium fuel you are getting..

I do!!! Always interesting to here about a new ENGINE on the market. I had the understanding that specialty used the rk kits and that was it. However it would appear they have done THEIR homework and come up with a completely different set of specs for a new and improved 860. As for engine tech i believe it was in feb of last year when they came to B.C.
