I don't mind paying more for a sled that, for me, is a better sled.

As far as fair price, the dealers within my area (2hr drive) had almost a 2k spread on what the out the door price was. Just lucked out that the dealer closest to me had the best price, and even more important, I got a good feeling from the staff as far as after sale support.

$13200ish PLUS gsT FOR 154 X pull start with 3 year warranty would be a fair price I would say,,, add $400 for 163 track

Then previous doo owners also get that extra $300 in the mail so thats only $12900 plus GST .....

how much for the PRO 155? $12200? thats only $700 differance why is everyone talking about this huge price spread??

I called around and visited a few stealerships.... New Doo 3 yr warranty) 163 X 13800-14500 + gst..... New Pro 163 (2 yr warranty)12000 - 12400 + gst. Both sleds are pull start. 2000 dollars is one year worth of trips for me. I guess im more money loyal than brand loyal.... I've been on a doo the 10 years, but could easily see that changing...

Exactly! Over $2000 more is crazy! This is one of the biggest reason I snowchecked the pro last year and it's an amazing sled! I'm planning on snowchecking next year and sure hope doo lowers their price or I'll be going the polaris way again.

Hey guys plus the 3rd yr warranty is worth $$$$$ 700+ and resale you get back with no problems on the doo. I snowchecked one and haven't seen that big of a difference yet. Good luck and can't wait to get new sled in.

Might want to look west of Edmonton on HWY 16... The highest prices for new Doos that I found were all in cities on HWY 2. Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary. A couple were full MSRP, full freight, pdi and tax... That works out to well over 15k! The highest price I found was in Edmonton, but I paid almost 2k less per sled than that.

Wrote out the check today after checking the Doo and Poo dealers here.
$12850 + taxes for the X 154 pullstart, 3 year warranty, black ($100 less if you had bought a vehicle from that dealer before)
$12800 + taxes for the Pro 155 pullstart, 3 year warranty, regular colors (really should add ~$400 to this price for comparison because the 154x16 compares with the 163x15)

I wrote the check out to the Doo dealer. I'm assuming both sleds handle similarly, so it is 40 pounds vs. better engine. I chose the engine. Poo made sense when they were $2k cheaper, but not at the same price (or even more).

I called Custom Cycle too for a price. They were the cheapest by almost 500 bucks. But once you factor 10 hrs round trip for fuel, food, time its not worth it. Plus being booted to the back of the line by any local dealer for any warranty work.

It appears I am fortunate to live close to a well-priced Doo dealer, and a not so competitive Poo dealer.

The technology in the etec makes the CFI2 look like a flathead in comparison. The CFI2 still has the flaws of the infamous Polaris 800 and 900, which is not good for re-sale or reliability.

Your dealer over there looks a might bit more nervous about the fleet that BRP bestowed upon him than most other dealers thats for sure. Lol.

Put a little more "sales pitch" into the job and set your goals a little higher for the next few months and you'll be okay!

You will love the 2013 XM whether it be a 163 or 154; they would be soooo easy to ride with your style and the running boards with ice.....a thing of the past!
