I havent even asked the my dealer the final price. I am just buying from them no matter what because at 4pm on a friday if I need an emergency part they have always come through for me even if it meant stripping parts from there personal sleds. You cant put a price on that. And i am snowchecking a 163 Summit XM in black. It is sure going to be a long summer waiting for that to come in.

There is a lot of truth in that statement; dealers are getting few and far between. Great dealers are going the way of the dinosaurs. There are a few around and I am quite happy that I have a great one!

PS I'll be snow checking and Tyler/Ryan at Mr. R's has a sharp pencil and great service.

There are different color options with the dealers than on the "Build My Sled" page of the BRP web-site. When I went on the BRP site the color that came up was not even one that was available at the dealers.

How does that happen????

Summit x models have 2 color choices. Yellow/black and black/grey. Sp models have 1 color choice black/orange. The X and XM models are only available in the X or Sp configuration. Just so everyone is aware.

we are looking at 13900 for a 154x and 14400 for a 163x in northern bc/ alta pre tax
Which is basically msrp+. I am pretty disappointed with the doo pricing this year. First the local dealers all get together to agree on pricing and then only talk msrp pricing on the phone. I really appreciate all the local cat and poo dealers. They tell you what they can do on the phone then you can make a decision at home. You can base your decision on the product, the dealer experience, the proximity to your location and finally price.

I really want an xm this year but at these prices they are not in the game.

Most dealers quote msrp over the phone for the following reason:
Hello this is Bob from Bob's Skidoo. What can I do for you?
Whats your best price for a Summit X?
Whats your name and where you from?
Whats your best price on a Summit X?
Where you from?
....................Buckbreath, Saskatchewan.
Geez we are 1000 miles away, why you calling us?
My dealer is a dink......
Have you tried a dealer closer to you?
There all dinks and I got 15 guys wanna deal. What kinda deal on 15 guys?
What models you interested in?
Summits......
Summit what? 46-54-63?????

Exactly. The fluctuation on freight and pdi is huge. Therefor the only way to compare sleds is price+freight+pdi+tax. And then if your in bc well sorry I guess. Compare that to other people or subtract the extra tax.

Then consider extras like warranty, avalanche bags, accessories.

Let's me fair folks. Posting 12999 for 2013 rmk 163 means fawk all. Let's see the details.

12700 base... Then load up the tax...

Agree need more details. A photo of a sales contract would go a long way to proving these prices and no added bs fees.

I thinking you gave up the 1000 bucks in accessories to get that price ???
Yup and thats Spectra in Williams Lake. Its a damn good price, do you need a Gnote in accessories?? Not everyone does. That otd price blows the other manus outta the water, its got me lookin hard at a pro. If the xm was anywhere close to that price id be 2 pitchers and a schooner deep in kool aid

so what is a pre tax x package worth? 154 / 163

$13200ish PLUS gsT FOR 154 X pull start with 3 year warranty would be a fair price I would say,,, add $400 for 163 track

Then previous doo owners also get that extra $300 in the mail so thats only $12900 plus GST .....

how much for the PRO 155? $12200? thats only $700 differance why is everyone talking about this huge price spread??
