I can bump your timing 1.5 but not much else.
Does it make that much of a difference?? Does a gu need extra good gas for that??

Thought the etec would sense that and retard it back....

Head work??

PowderFreaks head my friend, no need for extra fuel and he can tweak the timing for you as well. He’s out of Lumby

A little sneak peak of some more goodies that showed up

This my friends not only moves the front end of the sled up 1.5” but also moves the skis 5” forward. Pretty pumped to try this kit out

Mounted the new BCA bag yesterday using the ski doo linq system. Pretty slick little bag. Looks much better then the previous version. Should do the trick. Excited to have finally picked a bag and a mounting system. Looked at basically every bag option available and this is what I decided would be best suited for my needs.

And.........

I finally got to try this little weapon out!! I finally fired her up for the first time!! Break in procedures consisted of some fresh non ethanol 94 octane premium, and a very small amount of oil to the tank. Fired her up, let her warm up to operating temp, checked over everything real good, and went for a couple of quick laps in the field keeping her under her 6000 stage 1 break in restrictions. Halfway through this cycle I purposely let it hit the temp light and immediately shut it down and walked away from the sled for an hour, and came back and repeated.

Stage II the 6000 RPM lifted as I was driving it. I gave her a couple really good wide open full piners across the field as soon as it allowed the RPMs to go above 6000 and then again let it hit the temp light after I had been riding her for about 10 mins of pull pin hot laps across the field. I think I prob got about 30 runs in or so before allowing it to hit the temp light, was suprized with how hard it was to get it to hit the temp light!

In total 3 full heat cycles from cold to hot were performed, and she is now ready for her maiden voyage

Those should be interesting. Can’t wait to here how it handles with skis 5” foreword. Do they recommend dropping the rear skid also with this kit?
Sits almost as high as my sled so should make a big difference in the deep.

From everyone I talk to that has tried this kit out it makes a pretty big difference!! It should really balance everything out with the single beam suspension. I find the single beam is super easy to tip over on the back but the front holds back its full potential, this kit should change all of that with moving the skis 5” forward. It has numerous other benefits which I will explain when I get a chance as they are very in depth.

Yes my skid is already jacked up in the back and will be using the adjustable CR blocks in the front to bring down the front. It’s going to be sick!

POSR = Point of sale registration

It’s a pin that the dealers enter into the ECU to unlock the computer to enable use. Without the code you will only get a couple hours and the unit will go into limp mode it’s essentially an anti theft device. Cat has been using this method for several years now on basically every machine.

I was trying to get a pic of the 0KM / 0hrs as this machine has never been started other then at the factory for whatever quality control checks they do if any? Unfortunately my phone died as I was unlocking the ECU and was setting everything up, that and I dropped it into the snow. can’t believe how much these sleds vibrate at idle!!

I encourage everyone to get to know there ECU on this sled. This gauge has many features that you can go in and setup. I set mine all up yesterday. I was able to go in and add actual numbers to the bars for temps etc. The ECU will allow you to go into the diagnostics menu as well and do random checks on your machine, it’s a really cool gauge. It will give you TPS values, and many other values.
