Anyone got the hood off their ‘20 CTec2 right now? Wondering what spark plug goes in these things or if they were changed with the other motor changes they did for the ‘20 MY. Cat parts website isn’t updated with all the ‘20 models yet.

Figured with how dirty this thing runs on break in I should probably get a couple spare plugs.

Has anyone put a Hyper Green skid plate on their 2020? Backordered until Dec15 but trying to see if it’s worth waiting for the green! (8639-232 is cat part #)

you should cut it out where it meets the boards so they still clear snow in the toe holds and pre drill for the chaincase drain.

Yeah, that damn case scares me

You will be fine with a full skid.
One of those tiny case only covers might be risky.
Mine has a few scrapes but it survived.

Do what Bnorth said and cut out the skid at the front of the boards. I used a minnie saws all after skid was on so still could pop rivet the back of skI'd plate to boards.

Geeezzz guys...sounds like soooooooo much work owning an Arctic Cat snowmobile. FYI, Alberta ain’t producing grease anymore so easy on them elbows fellas.
It's a lot of work having to break trail for all the brp riders out there, that's for sure.

Wow.... Good job taking the time to fix this issue
Thx. Piss poor intakes. Mine was anyway. Also put some thin foam sticky pieces around the rubber where that plastic piece I modified pushes up on frame so it’s sealed on backside too. My 15 never had an issue but this 18 was terrible. Had to silicone a bead all the way around the two halves of intake.

step 1: remove word #’s 5,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,14

step 2: at end of sentence add...while riding your Arctic Cat snowmobile.

Hmmmmm somebody watered down the doolaid and they are starting to sober up and move to the Cat threads.........either that or they are trolls.
Can't believe I just said that.
