In them hills.
Excellent youtube video. Regurgitated the press release while adding the flair of an accent and Ford-produced B-roll footage. Bonus was the $25 giveaway, I really enjoyed that part.
No actual specs out yet, not much to work with.

I always find these big blocks are around for a couple of years then the guys who have them are stuck with them because no one wants a used one.

Fords Triton V10, GM’s 8.1 even tied to the old Allison, just were not great performers and given the upgrade cost people were more inclined to go with a diesel.

I think the difference this time is they are mated to a 10 speed transmission.

Yup.
Most people end up with a 1/2 ton and a sled deck cause they don't wanna take the big step up to a diesel.

This should really bridge that.

Their has been good options all along for gas powered 3/4 and one ton trucks .
This is just another .
I hate driving my one ton Duramax other then pulling . Real nice truck but sure isn’t like my 1/2 ton for 90% of my driving .

Nah those were all mated to a six speed and were high reving rigs.

10 speed will make a big difference.

Imo

Until we know the specs , most gas motors need to rev to make any power these days .
The 10 speed will be nice for sure .
I had a 6.2 3/4 ton Ford in 2010 and was great truck but needed 4:30 ratio if hauling anything or pulling .
