I can get some "information". What would you like to hear? Lol

I noticed how far apart the lug spacing is, looks larger than a 3" pitch.
3.5 in pitch with 47 windows works out to 165"

it's 3" pitch... come on... LOL
Maybe. But look at the size of the track windows, if yah wanted to lighten the track with the supposed extra porting. Increase the track pitch and the windows will get bigger, plus the track will get longer.
Its just talk and discussion.

lol if anyone thinks thats real..View attachment 194732
just saw this on snowest not a summit though
1000 by the looks of this if it is even real
3" pitch is pretty spaced already. That is why they went to 2.86.
you get less effectiveness on the snow with a longer pitch, Less lugs to the ground, sure it's lighter, but if you add ½" on every lug, it adds up. ... and so on.
you have a larger driver. I am sure there isn't anything smaller than a 7 tooth driver.. in today's sleds. the difference in driver diameter with 3.5 would be 1.1 inches.. gotta make room for that. not to mention the cooler is probably lower now..
BRP are manufactures are they not ?
They can and will build whatever they think will make improvements in their engineers minds . " God help us"
Caper is very aware don't you worry.

Started 2.52 pitch then 2.86 and then 3 inch pitch.
Between 2.86 and 3 is so very little .
Lol
I am not your bro and your still incorrect .
2.52 then 2.86 and then 3
3 was aftermarket "Camoplast"for the 3 inch lug tracks .
First 174 if I remember right.
Then Yamaha , Arctic Cat Started installing them factory and others after that .

Sure looks like the spy photos
You're facts are backwards bro. I put a 3" pitch 162x16x2.5 track on my 2005 rev summit. Was there 2.86 then? Nope!
This is aftermarket. 3" pitch was available before 2.86. Fact.

Back on topic .
Better do some fact checking . The 2005 rev was 2.52 pitch stock ( Doo switched in 2008 to 2.86 pitch with 2.25 lug )and if you switched without changing drivers it wasn't no 3 inch pitch.
We are talking Doo here and not cats as they did have 3 inch pitch stock as was stated.
Well actually you can run a 3 pitch track on 2.86 drivers.
Just sayin!
Soooooo before the bickering starts.......when is the actual press release?
