Why wouldn't it , the changes they have made basically caused it to be a clone of the Pro/Axys, they finally realized what they had to do to take the XP to a true mountain chassis. The narrow panels, higher centre of gravity, boards that clean out, rider back a bit , all good changes, but late to the dance. Have someone who knows how post up a front on view comparison of an XM and an Axys, then put the same front on view of the same Polaris and a new Doo. Looks pretty similar.

But with one big difference. The skidoo will be built well and reliable. The Polaris has the quality of a Chinese knock off

The Doo is certainly a quality product, but maybe put down the doolaid , take off the Doogles, and look around. Poo has done a lot better with their quality control the last couple years especially this year. And they did it without having to carry around a bunch of extra weight. Personally, i think Doo finally got it, the future of mountain sleds look and feel a hell of a lot more like the Axys than the XM, hence the changes in 17. Truth is there are a whack of mountain guys who would have always preferred to be on a Pro/Axys, if , it would have had a motor as good as the Etec. Thats the reason they've done so well market wise, it sure as hell isn't the outdated band aided XP chassis. Good for them, i think it'll be a great sled, maybe I'll buy one. See how it goes.

Polaris finally got it as well with the 2016 Axys .
Fit and finish is a lot better , motor by the looks of things is on par and a very nice sled . IMO
Hence the price increase ?
We should know about Cat soon ?
Yamaha ? Not expecting much .

the snowest 2017 wish list is all about better fit and finish. lots of guys complaining about electrical gremlins on their '16 models. TPS being the most common failure, poor connectors next. then a arms.
