Grooming looks doubtful due to the mild conditions and rain down low.

That will make it nice and ugly.

Need more snow with the rain that went up high as well.

No grooming as per the club.(when I asked said it was really mild) Believe they are collecting trail fees this weekend too.

Quartz is apparently doing better.

I think I saw a post on Facebook this morning that they groomed Silent last night. The road is plowed to the 35km.

Silent was groomed Friday night for the first time this season. It will now continue to get groomed every Thursday night. The gate will be collecting every Fri./Sat./Sun. for the rest of the season.

hows the snow up there?

The main wide open areas were pretty tracked up and anything in the open is wind blown and hard. But if you look in the trees you can find some pretty sweet powder! We were stuck up to our eyeballs all day yesterday!

The turbo XM can dig a pretty deep trench when it wants to.

Took one or two pokes on the front side, caught a rock and headed to the trees.

Apparently one lady had possible broken ribs on Saturday from either hitting a creek hole or rock, another sled was written off from a hole when a rider bailed off of it, a couple of rocks claimed some arms.

It is still early. Of the mess of sleds that were apparently there I think I saw 10 other than our group. Stayed away from the masses and had endless fun elsewhere.

Could still use 3-4 feet.

Watch the roads. There was a truck and trailer off the bank on our way in Saturday morning. Went in on their way out likely Friday night. That corner will claim a few more trucks yet. Not the first one I have seen there.

Are people getting up into the alpine or over to the backside?
