I was there today, pretty pounded out, still managed to find a bit of untouched stuff, all in all a pretty decent day, a few more feet and it will be awesome! You still have to watch out for rocks...

Well I guess I'll spill the beans, just got back a couple of hours ago, snow was awesome! probably 2 feet in meadows, more in trees. Snowing and windy all day, so visibility was not great. still snowing. Main meadows getting tracked, but still tons of fresh. Hopefully more on the way! Probably 20-30 trucks but hardly saw anyone all day which is usually the case at silent. Road has not been plowed since christmas, but only about six inches of fresh on it, and lots of trucks going in so it's fine. People are parking anywhere from the normal parking lot at the 21km right up to the 39/40km marker where the trail starts (can't remember which km). It's a bit tight turning at the end but there were lots of trailers there so obviously no big deal. Trail was definitly getting a bit pounded, but it should be groomed again in a couple days?

Hope this helps, and glad to get some great snow again! it's been a lean month.

Road in the silent "area". If the snow was as deep as we found.... Well silent would be good. Very deep and fluffy, over the hood all day. Only did 50km ride and burned a full tank. Road is still plowed to km 40. Recommend decks and small trailors this far in. If you got a big trailer start lookin for pull out after 30km marker, there's only about 5ish. Anything past 35 start lookin. cloudy all day with more snow rolling in. Looks like there was a fair bit of people up there with all the tracks.

Have a look at the Golden Snowmobile Club Facebook Page and there is a Silent Pass update on there about logging and the road conditions! They are doing an awesome job keeping up on the posts. As for Grooming. It got groomed tonight!

Just got back from riding Silent on the 5th. Trial in was awesome - better on the way out as they were just grooming the trail! yahoo! Snow was deep 2.5 ft of fresh, and untouched in the meadows. Couldn't get up too high as it snowed all day and was socked in. But visibility down lower was good.

You must fish a lot...

We rode Saturday (yesterday)I would say it was more like 6-8" of fresh, on top of the holiday snow. Yes the trail was good down low even on Saturday. With thought we were in for a bluebird day, it was a little socked in on top and we had some novice riders with us so we chose not to go over to the backside. Lots of people out.

I'd agree on 2 to 2.5 feet on Thursday, maybe it got blown around on Thursday eve and packed down a bit but during the day it was over the hood the majority of the time... poor visibility up top though.

Logging has finished for year. Parking, turnaround at 23.5. Still pretty firm on road a couple trucks went to km35 on weekend but they were leaving some deeper tire marks in spots and they were not pulling trailers.

check golden snowmobile club facebook page for info on road and grooming.

Got about 14" at our place, down in the valley yesterday, sunny out right now. We were up on Tuesday and there was about 8" then over some hardpack...this dump should make it decent for sure. Getting colder tonight for the next few days. We're riding tomorrow too...not sure where but we may run into you. Have a great ride :D
