Had a awesome ride yesterday west of my place!Lots of miles but I want to send out a big thanks to guys with the side by side and quads that absolutely chewed the ch!t out the powerline west of the Vega ferry!Looked like a good time getting stuck every 50 feet and chewing ruts right down to the dirt but at least you guys covered the whole powerline so guys on sleds would have to wrestle in your ruts the whole way back! Not sure but if your getting stuck 2 minutes after you unload there might be a little to much snow for your summer machine!Just saying!!

Yes, they also work hard at chewing up underseeded crops that landowners have previously granted permission for snowmobilers to use. Wont be long around here and we will be grid locked summer AND winter. Ah well who wants to sled over ruts anyways. And yes I have a quad and S x S also.

Yah I love my quads and my ranger but they are parked till spring!
Be nice if everyone thought like that but a person will just have to live with guys that do that!At least it wasn't on a trail where a guy pays for trail passes!I just know to avoid the area for the rest of the year since the warm weather is going to make it like train tracks!

I seen bent trailing arms from quad ruts! Are you talking the power line through the sand hills? Or the power the line north of Timue hall (which as I think you know is the same power line lol).

I was coming back from north of Timue and ran into the tracks just across Deep Creek! And it was absolute crap all the way back to powerline hill where they unloaded! It is rough at the best of times but a lot worse when your fighting foot deep ruts!I could have avoided it I guess and went back in the bush but the fuel gauge was telling me to take the shortest route home!I just can't see how that was fun chewing the ch!t out of trail and getting stuck that often! If it wasn't for the sled tracks that were there already they wouldn't have made it 10 feet from the truck!
