Considering one of your first threads as a s&m member is barking on us and comparing us to gaywest you put a big target on you head man. Seeing as you have read enough around here you realized gaywest is well hated here. Maybe you should use a little more discretion if your gonna post that to rag on people that have been here a lot longer than you have. Personally i dont care but making a thread bashing on people and a site that some live on not wise when you want to avoid the crap from gaywest.
I have not ragged on anyone here. And have not compared this site to Snowest. And the reason that Snowest is hated is because everyone here are former or current members of Snowest and they don't like being told how to act. I for 1 have been banned from Snowest, hell I didn't even know this site existed until I saw a thread on Snowest from a member that was mad about being banned and when his ban was lifted he started talking about S&M. ( I thought he was a pervert at the time) But then realized it was Snow and Mud. This site is no better or worse than Snowest. The only thing I see is that you can get away with a lot more over here. And that eventually will bring it down.

this might be a dumb question, but how do you get banned from a forum? I don't know too much about Snowest but I can't imagine that it is much different than S&M. just people getting together and sharing a common interest. Don't know what all the bashing is about?

Never used snow west but I'd find it difficult to believe that there is ANY site out there which caters better to our crowd especially the western canadian crowd..I'm aware we have members from all over which is great but so far as local information goes S&M can't be beat.

Have Accounts on Both and a few other online forums as well, each has their own good things and their bad. Banwests Poo info from a few of the members is top notch, but most of the other stuff is pretty limpwristed.

We have 12 active mods here that try to keep everything in check....most mods are gone for the weekend so I guess everyone is stuck with me:d....I have been monitoring this thread from a far to see which direction it was going to go but everyone hair is standing on end so time to interven. I could see it there are game servers that are a little churchy rules lilke no swearing or porno pictures. i got banned from a server for saying Dam in a game lol didn't now it was such an evil word.

Snowest turned into Snowest. Years ago it used to be a darn good site . Now the mods are trying to clean it up and all they get for it is bashed. I am also not banned there anymore. What I see is some of the biggest trouble makers from Snowest are now here. ( I'm going to catch heck for that one.)

I have not bashed anyone with this thread. Like I said some people who don't like what other people post resort to name calling, probably because they can not think of anything intelligent to say. I will use your post as a very good example.

again.... personal opinion introduces more conflict. Who are these "biggest troublemakers" and who / what deems them to be so? Things are different here CD.... There are great people here as there is on SW, but there are very few personal attacks here. The personal attacks are shunned here, and the moderation staff controls whats going on at all times rather than on Monday morning.
Don't get me wrong.... Big D does what he can, but he has a life to, and without help, he has his hands full. Many take advantage of that by exploiting his absense. That is poor judgement as self moderation should be executed. Unfortunatly.... many think they have the end all answer or need to bash others to feel mighty and powerful while hiding behind the monitor of their commodore 64's.
On the other hand.... many have the dexterity of an earthworm and take everything personally... this will always create conflict if the baby sitters are not around.
so.... why even bother continuing to push buttons. Everybody should just drop it and continue on.... enjoy the site, look around, post a little and quit worrying where all the "biggest trouble makers" are.
