Went to the bull pen on Monday and it was a very nice blue day. Me and buddy both climbed the 90 and Swenson. He climbed the 90 on his first try ever which was awesome. Took me 3 try’s on his sled as mine either has a coil issue or it ate some reeds. Buddy was awfully close to clobbering the tree at the top of Swenson lol.

Sleds ran outta gas two days straight now. Rode over the bars both days. Has been a great trip. Tomorrow will be good to with where we’re planning to go.

Dug a avy pit today and conditions are trending downwards. There was surface hoar everywhere yesterday. The snow on top of it was starting to slide already. If it dumps one or two more times that will be a dangerous layer.

Ride safe!

Any thoughts on how snow will be next week?

Thinking about heading out from very far away and not seeing any big systems coming through. Seems like a little snow here and there but in my prior experience in Revy the forecast and ski hill web cams have never done the riding zones any justice.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Tejay, if I may ask, how is it living in Revelstoke?
I planned to move to McBride because my wife wanted to go there, but she passed away in January. McBride was not my dream place, but I still do plan to move. My 3 possibilities are Salmon arm, Sicamous, and Revelstoke, so just wondering what it's like from someone who already is living there.

Been here coming on 65 years ( born here) Lots of changes in the last while with the ski resort and not for the better in my opinion. Lots of growing pains in the community especially with infrastructure trying to keep up with growth. Lots of transient residents through the winter and even more so now in the summer with mountain biking and climbing. I would far rather see sledders here than transient populations. Real estate is mostly unattainable as a starter home that needs lots of work would be in the 650 k range but few and far between on the market. Most have been bought up for flop house rentals or fixed up and are now illegal vacation rentals . For myself I can only watch the sledding as a former participant as I have far too many arthritis issues to go for it any longer. However we do have great snow but now it’s just a pain in the arse having to shovel and blow it especially this year. We have spectacular scenery here and all the outdoor opportunities are right at your doorstep and it’s 10 minutes max to anywhere.in town. Any questions feel free to ask
