Apparently the trail is on privately owned land so I've been told by people that walk the trail. It probably is getting to be a hot spot and will definitely take a ticket to keep me away as it's such a nice place to ride. it's just getting there. The bad people definitely ruined it for the good ones around red deer that's for sure! The only portion to be crossed that concerns me is the highway. A peace officer lives down the street from my house and quads, snowmobiles and sxs are slowly running around daily. Never had an issue. I'm 39 years old I'm married and have a two year old son. We just bought a new fifth wheel holiday trailer last year that needs to be used more and would love to get out camping more. I was born and raised in red deer, no one I know rides anymore. I've been camping in the back woods west of Caroline since I was a knee high and know the whole area very well. I would say I'm a happy go lucky person, very peaceful and don't start crap. When I do drink I'm a happy drunk and not an ass. Also I like guns and shooting sports

There are a few die hard campers out here...more on the wekend.
There is still frost in the shaded areas, but overall the water leves are low.

Ok. Thanks.

I used to camp on corkscrew mountain in the middle of winter with my uncles when I was 5 to 10 years old. Loved it! Still do

I was out for 3 nights camping two weeks ago....make sure the propane is full. All skeg bottoms were still frozen.
