I'm just discovering how much my new 1000 XMR loves to drink the fuel! Wow it's been two years but I'm sure my last 800 XMR didn't drink that much. I have been trying to break in the new belt properly, maybe that's part of the consumption but dang!

That's what happens when you mention Popo in Mexico......the bouncer probably builds axles for Canam in his day job....

He he, haven't checked my quad yet but I'm sure it was made in mehico like my last one. Where a bouts do you guys ride the majority of the time? Im usually in the Tay river area where I can fish along the way. I rode at the bighorn dam a while back, it was a nice ride and only cost me $2 to wash my quad after. I also went sledding with my uncle grant out by nordegg and had a blast! Got to see a bit more scenery from up above on that trip. Almost bought a sled instead of a quad it was so much fun!

I heard some of the guys are having axle issues..frustrating I know. Been lucky with my Xmrs so far, I heard a lot of guys snapping axles on them, haven't had it happen yet. I'm on XMR #2

You havent been riding with those guys yet ^^^

I haven't rode with anyone here yet but I'd like to. In the past I've rode by myself way heck and gone from anyone or anything. I'm not pressing my luck that all will go well from now on. I've cought plenty of brookys out of the Tay and have yet to hook a bull, a great catch and release trophy indeed!

Had both the 800 and the 1000 model, only snapped one on the 800, but it was driver error on my part if you keep the suspension down around 3 and don't crack the whip with the wheels turned you will be fine

I'm wondering how that scenario will work with the new fox shocks as they eliminated the air ride for 2015. They do feel a bit stiff, I would say they feel a bit more than the middle air setting on my 2012 xmr I suppose I could fiddle with the shock nut until I found the sweet spot.
