Well then it's a good thing I'm not a fan of climbing.

Yep 40km west!
As for snow!! I rode yesterday and was super impressed with the conditions. We could hear a few things move up there with the new snow load and saw some debris (class 2.5) in the last chute on the left in Cabin Valley. Snow was incredible in the trees left of Cabin!!
Dug one pit last week with a snow depth of 84cm. This week 114cm. AH YEAH! That's a lot of new load on the buried rain crust! I'd stay off the big slopes and let this cycle pass. With so much snow in the forecast it's gonna get dicy and we will finally get our first big cycle! FINALLY THE ALDERS WILL GET COVERED!! haha:)

rode yesterday. some really good snow if you head into the trees. but there are still a ton of rocks and trees poking through. still need to be real careful

rode quartz today, pretty good snow in the trees snows getting better up top. waste deep anywhere I got off the tracks with a couple of good stucks. A big thumbs up to the groomer trails looking good, and is groomed almost to the cabin.
