Shout out to anyone riding Gorman the last week. Been up there 3 times with the daughter and everyone is super respectful even though her trail manners are still developing.

Start later in the day when everyone else leaves. This way you have the trail to yourself mostly.

Snow is not coming past Roger’s pass for Golden, that said your gonna have to go hunting for it, but it’s out there.

Right now Snow levels 1/4 that of a regular year!

Not needed, you can count rocks in the creek up avy alley

We made it all the way up the valley to just shy of hundred horse hill. Didn't probe but there's 6' of snow missing for sure.

It’s not good

We were at Quartz Creek on Saturday, it was hard packed for the most part, in the trees, on the hills. There were a couple spots decent to side hill on.
Gorman is the better of the 2. It had softer snow but is still very, very low.

Couple days spent punching back from Gorman Lake with @NoBrakes!
Probed ~1.6m in Lang
The fresh snow this week made for nice riding.
There’s a breakable crust but the firmer snowpack allows for quick travel through terrain.

Still some land mines out there that will sneak up on you too.
