Haha...I did. I just couldn't do it. May Yamaha 2400 probably has 2-3000 hours on it over the last 13 years and never missed a beat. I am just getting to the point where I find it a little heavy and bulky. So I am going to pick up a Yamaha 2000 suitcase style for $1000. It won't run the AC but around Calgary it cools off enough at night you rarely need it. Plus I have a 4000w Onan in the toy hauler if I am desperate. The Onans are okay just quite a bit louder than the inverter style gennies.
You should look at the Champion 2000’s. Champion has proved reliable a fraction the cost at the same sound output. Google Champion 2000 vs Yamaha 2000 for comparisons.

My last experience with a Champion generator lasted about 20 minutes before it cratered. I do hear they are better
now though. Same with the Champion winch I tried. So not a huge fan of them.
That’s too bad, on my 3rd Champion generator they’’ve been great.

I gotta ask, how the fawk do you keep your bench so clean? Or do you scrub it before taking pictures? Just asking for a friend.

Lots of rust and corrosion junk on that belt. What caused that?

Sitting in the tupperware container with all the other parts. It was clean when it came apart.

No I was folding it up when I snapped the pic. I have one of these on the floor in the winter. Keeps all the salt and slush contained.
Actually those parts look awesome, that belt is way bigger then I woulda thought...cars use belts for 100,000 km or more, my quad could do 10,000 km on a belt if I drive nice,and runs hot.I'd totally trust that belt.

Ha, 1 was their 3500/4500, ran that for 5 yrs too loud. 2000 W great just needed AC
