Picker truck for mobile office trailer??

Have a couple mobile office trailers, one stacked on top of the other. Need to have the top one lifted off onto a flatbed. Trying to figure out costs. Weight is about 12,000Lbs. What do we need to get it off and what should be the hourly on that equipment?

What's the reach, can the picker get right beside?

My thinking is you need a minimum of 35 ton picker to give a bit of flexibilty in positioning, but odds are a 40 or 45 ton will be about the same rate. Up here going rate for a 40 ton is usually around $265 an hour with many companies wanting a 3hr min charge. If you can be flexible on timing you might be able to catch a truck while in the area and pay less than a 3hr min. Give the local companies a call and let them know what you are after. We use Entrec (now Capstan locally) a lot up here and they also have a pile of equipment in Edmonton. Odds are though that the cheapest cost will be the company with their yard closest to your location.

That’s a tough one, in the course they say no bridging, but the manuel shows timbers starched like that, not 2x6’s though.

I’ve had to use timbers on a muddy lease when the outrigger pads kept sinking.

Timbers are fine, 2X6 are even fine if secured together and no gaps.
