lol not for sale yet. but thanks, Its treated me pretty good over last two years

I have always wanted a Brute, but I am currently stuck with my Arctic Cat 650 V2 its got a Kawie 650 V-Twin in it. I love the power it throws, I love its roar, I love its reliability (hasn't let me down yet, knock on wood) but I hate how its hates the cold starts. My Cat is my Brute for now give it a year or two I will have a Brute :D .

there was once a story of a guy that wanted a 4wd sport quad, wanted a renegade, but not the hefty price of new, and the used scrambler's were good but lacking in power. After some searching a scrammy it was on a price i couldn't refuse. After some runs in alberta's north the motor was found to have overheating issues, so it was decided to scrap the old and bring in the new:

some new motor mounts:

(they were cleaned up a lot after this picture was taken, extra gussets were added too)

the flatslide carb upgrade:

and finally the scrammy with the triple psi pipes and most of the plastics installed:

and a couple youtube vids:

and the tuning run from yesterday:

The motor is a 680 polaris triple out of a 96' ultra, with the pipes its good for 140hp, but i know the cr is down, so its probably in the 110-120 range. Still a couple things left to wrap up (need bigger air filters, the uni's i had on it were to small (1.75" id, need to step up to 2.5" id so it doen't suffocate, then once the jetting is set i need to build a better cvt cover, and build panels to seal off the vitals so i can go muddin :D) but overall its quick, as in the front end is barely on the ground from idle to redline on a WOT run, the motor stays plenty cool (sled motors work harder in the winter with a smaller cooling system) and the quad is surprising nimble, heavy in mid section (porky is the best way to describe the feel) but very fun to ride.
