deaner yes being a power engineer i know how important a break in on a combustion engine is. witch is why i specifically asked before i even put it in the back of my pick up what exactly do i need to do to break this engine in? as i have stated before i did EXACTLY TO A T what i was told to do by the individual. What i DIDNT know is i am supposed to put 200 soft km on this motor before even considering to crack the throttle. The best part is i specifically asked if the break in is something i can do in the mountains and the reply i got was oh yea no prob. baby it up the trail and after the vary the rpms lots, that's basically the just i got. Thats a pretty long shot from what the break in info dave provides with the kits. i think its funny your posting people like me shouldn't be running mods... but the fact that i paid a professional alot of money to install and provide me the detailed information on how to work the product they are selling should eliminate any doubts on the fact that i have inexperience running a big bore.
But even without seeing this paper.....you honestly didnt know that you would have to break in a new high performance motor?? Should probably stick to stock from now on.
