The Biff, cousin Carl and Mark Martin are looking fast in the 2 practices in Richmond. My man Kenseth is slow on the single lap chart but fastest in the 10 lap average. Looks like the Fords are making strides at Richmond finally. Who you guys picking for the win tomorrow night?

Well....as a long time fan, he was rumored to be in the hunt for a win last fall, so I managed to go to Talladega hoping to see him win. He didnt of course, and as much as I want to see him win, I will be pizzed if he wins this time since I wont see it live LOL. But ya I think he is closing in....

So Larry Mac talked to Robin Pemberton today to find out firsthand what happened to Edwards on that restart. Tony did a green flag stop before that caution came out. Carl did his on the caution. When Carl came out he was in 2nd place un benonced to him. Nascar decided to go another caution lap for whatever reason and Carl crossed the start line ahead of Tony when he was lined up next to him. Because scoring is done electronically he was shown on the scoring pile-on in 1st place. That is where the mixup came in. Carl was pizzed at being placed on the outside for the restart when he thought he was scored in first place so he left early. End of story.....

Pemberton also said that the late debris caution was in fact a water bottle most likely thrown out the window by a driver. Because drivers were yelling debris on there radio's they could not tell from the tower if it was a can or a bottle so they threw the yellow flag. Sucks for Tony as I bet the Douches finger prints are all over that water bottle.

First place or second place you are NOT suppose to "go" BEFORE the restart box! End of story!!!!!

He definately left early, about 5 ft early but it still doesn't make it right that the Nascar official told both Carl Edwards spotter Jason Hendelsy and Bob Jeffries who is Tony Stewarts spotter that Carl was the leader. This was confirmed by both drivers spotters to Bob Dilner after the race. Face it Nascar didn't help the issue and the proper way to deal with it would have been to restart the race again. Like Carl said if he would have known Tony was the leader he would have followed him to the start line and then raced him. End of story part 2. Lol.
