Or Bristol this coming August. That WILL be a true classic.

Saw an interview on Speed with Bruton Smith about his proposed changes for that race. He's not ready to talk about the changes yet. Gotta keep waiting I guess....:(

Nascar announced at Texas this weekend that they will have templates for the C Posts at Talledega for the spring race coming up. The 48 car is the inspiration for the templates. Now whats Chad going to do?

Anybody see the James Finch interview the other day on Wind Tunnel? He was saying that all of Kurt and Kyle Busch's problems would have been sorted out if they had come through the dirt track ranks. He said there was alot of fighting with the odd race breaking out. Lol. I guess you don't lip anyone off at the dirt tracks. HaHa.

I thought I heard he was going to repave it and turn it back into a one groove racetrack again. So it sounds like the ol' bump and run will be back but I havent heard about any changes to the banking. I suspect they take the progressive banking away and just go back to a single degree banking track.

The usual suspects are looking strong in practice today in Kansas. The Roush cars and the Hendrick cars are all pretty fast. I am thinking this is the weekend that Carl makes a move in the standings. It will be him or Johnson but Carl is the man.:smilieicon_ford::first::trustme:

Allmendinger on the pole with Harvick and Logano after him. All the really fast cars from earlier practices are in the teens as the cooler weather for the early qualifiers was a huge advantage.

Well its in the books boys. Denny Hamlin takes the win over a hard charging Truex Jr. JJ was 3rd with Kenseth and Biffle rounding out the top 5. Top 3 in points are now Biffle-Truex Jr.-Kenseth. On to Richmond next week for some short track action.

Jr. loves Richmond, could it be Jr. and Mr. H's special night?!?! that could make for a huge victory lane party. JS

Bullchit story over the wires today. Patty Petty, co founder of the Victory Junction Camps with her husband Kyle was let go of the company that she created by the acting board of directors. Apparently they feel she is not making sound decisions for the charity and has been given the heave ho. How the hell does someone that has done so much for disadvantaged children all over the U.S. get a slam dunk like that? There must be more to this story.....

It appears now that Patty Petty suffers from Parkinson's. Kyle and Austin both commented today that she will accept a lesser role with there charity in the best interests of the Victory Junction camps.

So tomorrow night Travis Pastrana makes his Nationwide series debut for MWR at Richmond. How does everyone think the 11 time X Games champ will do in Nascars second division?
