I was really pullin' for truex, thought he actually had it till the replay. He was was in good spirits for such a heartbreak. Classy guy and him winning would have been a huge feel good story for all he's been through.

Was hoping Truex had it myself. ... great run for him though all in all.

Would have turned into a parachute if he pulled out to pass. Good race all in all.

Yeppers super exciting last couple laps... wanted Harvick to make something happen but the Toyotas shut that down. Fun to watch - lost too much cash on bets though. Oh well, hopefully make it up at Phoenix.

Wow!!!!!! Did someone just drop a bomb? That is major news. With Roush not pulling there weight as of late its nice to see some balance in Nascar again with Hendrick, SHR and Gibbs dominating the past few years.

Looks like the article has been edited, an earlier version said power will come from Roush-Fenway.

Where else would it come from? Roush Yates is the only engine builder for Fords Nascar program?

Ok, didn't realize there was only one engine builder in the Ford camp.

There were numerous changes from the original article, the statement from Chevrolet and the talk about Hendrick was all absent in the first iteration.

I didn't agree with Harvick moving from RCR to Stewart either but look what happened. I've been wrong before, let's hope I'm wrong again!

Ya still shaking my head about this? Like Zeebs said never ever saw this coming? Whats next? Roush to Toyota? Hendricks starting up a Hyundai team?

I couldn't believe what I was reading this morning... I checked the calendar to be sure it wasn't April 1st!!!! Must have been one hell of an offer for SHR to switch to Ford. I remember Tony not being impressed about the switch to Toyota back in his final season at Gibbs and am very shocked that he would have anything to do with a Ford deal... he's not sole owner though... Wonder if we will see changes to his Woo team with Schatz heavily sponsored by Chev.

FYI - Current driver numbers are 23 Chevrolet, 14 Ford, and 9 Toyota according to Nascar.com. I was sort of surprised that Fords numbers are that low.

Didn't he have something about that when he left Gibbs or started his own team that he was committed to Chevy since they had been there and sponsored him over all the years?

The 5 new Nascar Hall O f Fame nominee's have been named. They are: Jack Roush, Ricky Rudd, Waddell Wilson, Ron Hornaday and Ken Squier. I think Squier and Hornaday are the 2 out of this list with a chance to go through this time.
