Oh oh........................ Mr Harvick, Mr Vickers and Mr Truex are all in trouble with the Nascar sanctioning body tonight. The 4 and 14 cars failed post qualifying tech with improper track bar modifications. Truex had the roof flap issue that will let air out of the car at speed. All 3 cars will start from the tail end of the qualifying duels. Nascar to discuss penalties Tuesday at a competition meeting.

its seems like a well thought out layout, seating is pretty steep but understand why they do it. lots of covered space inside the stands for those occasional rain delays. The test will be when the stands (and bathrooms) fill up on race day.

4th practice just completed at Daytona: 44-3-18-48-27-41-5-11-19-20. Gibbs cars have been consistantly fast all week. Duels tomorrow night on FOX and TSN.

I read they doubled the number of restrooms so have a few beers when you are down there. Lol.

Not sure I care for the new rules of GWC finish. Why advertise the distance at these restrictior plate races? Hope this doesn't turn out to be the Daytona 498¾.......
