The turbo R has way stronger bottom end than the boost, top end is similar. Boost is smoother and feels more like the G4 turbo whereas the turbo R has a big mid range hit.

My 2024 backcountry xrs was beat on four days in a row last week. Just over 400 km on it and 20% break in left still.

Just turned over 500kms last Sunday, came out of break in sometime Friday.
I'm disappointed, was looking forward to changing out the spark plugs and packing out a clutch. Maybe next time.

My riding buddies 22 850 was 380km fully out of break in, we had a good start to that season lol, he was trying to keep up to my alpha sidekick

My 24 backcountry xrs. 142x2” Pulls 7900 on hard pack Lake. Beats my brothers Highcountry 800 easily in a race. That 2 inch track hooks right up. Take it in the ditches 69 to 7500 RPM. Total dog. Which is weird because it only does 135, 140km. . I had a 12 backcountry that would do 100 miles an hour. And still ditch bang at 8000 RPM all day. My new one in the deep ploughed snow from the graders won’t even wheelie. She’s gone for sale. I’m gonna get a 154 freeride n/a for ditches and a spare. It’s got to be a 146 thing.

Something is off. Had martins check raves and more it’s so bad. Everything’s fine. Good news. Over 400 km on 1 belt

its incredible how much better those turbo Rs work in the steep and deep compared to the factory boost. They just don't make speed out of the hole and lose it so fast

This is been my experience with every boost I’ve ridden with. In the steep tight trees if they have to button hook and go up they fall flat in their face. If they can work the face they will get up their eventually but they most definitely don’t climb near as well as a Turbo

500km already since having your season ended a few weeks ago with a torn hamstring is pretty good though.

Lookw like it snapped right at the head of the bolt. Thats a P22 issue but also could be install and the cluch not being seated properly on the taper, causing extra stress on the bolt?

Whatever it is, it’s not right and Polaris should be fixing the issue!
