Well boys and girls after spending 2 days in Revy I will tell you that the 175 g5 is a contender, you better have some pretty strong iron to take on one of these on cuz man is it fast and the handling is very different than my 21 in a good way. Now for my team tied and some gearing with a hyvo gear set,we are going for triple didgiit track speed!

I rode with a G5 175 this weekend. I have a 22 165 G4. I needed 2 runs to to follow the G5 tracks in more than one place. They seem to rip pretty good. Also rode with a 23 165 boost. It was in break in mode and was throwing codes, and the det sensor kept going off. Engine light was on for a couple days. Not sure if that's normal for break in. It seemed to be even with the 22 G4, but wasn't running anywhere near the G5 175.

I built one similar a few years ago, a g4 turbo wouldn't touch it but it looks like i may need to start again now that the g5 is kicking a$$
Love this thing only issues: 2 sets of reeds in 4 years and 3500Km, wish i rode more but littles ones and working away have put a damper on it now,

2018 g4 175
Iceage bomber rails,
Nextech torsion delete rear fox shocks and float 3 fronts
10" tricked toys wheels and axle
Redline drop brackets
Silber turbo SHR clutching and geared down 1 tooth
Diamond s mesh hood and panel vents
Diamond LED headlight
Autometer boost gauge
Smith grade rear bumper and backwoods front
would like to do a tunnel cut but not sure where to take it.

Dragonweld28 can install a G5r tune in your G4…and you should gear up not down.

ya the gearing i always went down 2 teeth made the 175 snappy in the trees. I left it 1 tooth down for the turbo to help with the lag, were just tree guys so total track speed didn't mean much to me, i'm seeing 90-93km/h now on a good pull with the 5# spring installed, maybe ill go back to stock when i change my chaincase oil next week and see if i notice any extra lag or a increase in track speed.
ill call and have a chat with dragonweld28 im sure there's gains to be made over all, sled just runs like a dream so i haven't really messed with it

As a fellow G5 175 turbski owner I can attest the sled absolutely rips, is as nimble as my G4 165 and destroys my 21 175 turbski! If I point to Jesus and squeeze I'll make it right to the pearly gates.

Another pull out of the lakes. Tried to take fresh for most of it. It’s pretty fast.

Well I finally got around to my chain and gear swap to the hyvo and geared it up a tooth, I know there is a thread on this but this is my last mod till I throw the team tied on. I wanted to test it stock before I do clutching, it will be interesting to see just the gain with the gear up cuz she was rotating before!
