moose riding

this has been on the news / FB for the past couple days. We were watching it on the news last night and my daughter's better half didn't see the problem with it. What do you think? I think they are idiots for doing so.

I completely and 100% agree, them SOB's should be charged under the cruelty to animal act. The stress to the animal would had been off the chart's for their little entertainment. I hope the authorities do something about this.

The difference between this a riding a bull? What makes one better than the other? My kids rodeo by the way and I still found the video a little offensive.

I am also not saying bull riding is my favorite thing either but its a reality.

I always considered the rodeo kind of cruel, particularly as a child. I suppose the fact that rodeo animals are domesticated, used to humans and raised for that purpose, allow us to perceive it at least a little more acceptable than terrorizing wildlife.

I have mixed opinions on it. I could argue both points. Heard arguments from both sides that are valid.

Was the moose in danger of dying? No. Was the moose traumatized? Probably not nearly as traumatized as being chased down by a pack of wolves and getting away. Dick move maybe? But it makes for a great campfire story...

One way that vid.could have ended WAY better was if the guy rode it into shallower water
and the moose kicked in his teeth and broke afew of his rib's .
THAT WOULD MAKE A BETTER CAMP FIRE STORY............................

excellent point. though the ones squawking loudest about the moose vid probably aren't rodeo fans either.

I think that moose will turn out just fine. the idiots that taped the episode are in for a rough ride
